Shanti Kids Yoga
Yoga influences the body, mind and spirit connection, improving concentration, flexibility, coordination. Children are the perfect yoga students, because they are spontaneous, full of energy and enjoy life. Adults take yoga classes to learn how to do what children do effortlessly: Live in the moment.

In this age group, body awareness is a key element to helping children have fun while getting fit. Shanti Kids exercises motor skills and cognitive development. Yoga poses are playful and imagination is celebrated. This is a drop-off class.

This class combines traditional yoga poses with playful moves, a little singing and a lot of fun for the whole family. Ages 3 and up may join one parent for this class. Parents may use a class card or drop-in. Children up to age 13 are $5 additional.

The poetic combination of yoga poses, mindfulness and movement help tweens and teens find balance, strength and groundedness. This class focuses on the alignment and breath in yoga poses as well as helping each student find balance between individuality and self-acceptance as well as the serious and the silly within oneself.
Yoga instills confidence, improves posture & balance, helps concentration, increases strength and is just fun for kids of all ages. We'll focus on finding the center within to find calm to access knowledge. We will learn ways to meditate quickly and effectively before and during tests. Students will also learn to become Warriors Against Stress and battle test stress and anxiety before, during and after. Most of all, students will get to have some fun.
